The Regional Award Ceremonies are the culmination of the first round of the U4energy European school competition. A panel of national juries evaluated entries through two evaluation rounds, where one national winner per category and country has been selected. Shortlisted participants are invited to one of the four Regional Award Ceremonies, held in regional clusters located in the following countries: Bulgaria, Italy, Lithuania, and Spain.

U4energy is responsible for the overall coordination of ceremonies, organised at local level by national committees. Based on entries submitted through the first year of the competition, each regional cluster will host participants from the following countries:
