U4energy mascots are portrayed in a fun and lively context, where they demonstrate energy efficient measures to be adopted in the classroom.

Take some time to analyse and discuss each action with your pupils. Some actions have a direct cause on energy efficiency, such as switching from traditional light bulbs to compact fluorescent bulbs or making sure to switch off appliances when not in use; while others suggest indirect ways, such as drinking tap water or recycling waste. Discuss how big of an impact each action can have on the carbon footprint of your school and why even the smallest of actions can help build a sustainable future!

U4energy Pledge


Being energy efficient requires engagement and commitment to certain measures. Because schools across Europe cater to different needs, it is essential that each class drafts a set of actions that best suit the needs of the school’s infrastructure.

Discuss the most pertinent actions you can do at school or at home and select the best ones. Indicate these actions in the allocated space of the Pledge, write your class name and have each pupil sign the pledge as an official commitment to help reach your energy efficient objectives. Display the pledge in a prominent place for all to see!

U4energy Stickers


U4energy awareness stickers should be placed in strategic areas for everyone to see! These stickers are meant to act as reminders so that people will remember to switch off the lights or electrical devices when not in use. Spread the message by placing them above light switches in corridors or on the mirror in a bathroom or loo so that everyone in the school will act together!
